Dynamic Marketer Mark Chmiel Joins Startup

After years of working with billion dollar companies such as Denny's and Young and Rubicam, Mark Chmiel has joined startup Ignite! Marketing Solutions. Mark, who in recent years has taken a passion for sculpting young minds in the classroom, will once again shape the creative world with his visionary marketing insights and strategies as Ignite! Marketing Solutions's Managing Director of Creative Ingenuity.

Chmiel is a Senior Executive with extensive expertise in marketing for retail, hospitality and packaged goods companies and has worked for brands such as Burger King, Denny's, Dr. Pepper/7Up, Got Milk? and KFC. His background includes success stories in category disruptions, startups, brand introductions, turnarounds and creative integrated marketing campaigns; culminating with winning eight Effie Awards for sales effectiveness. Additionally he is a professor of Marketing and Director of Marketing for the School of Business at Mercy College in New York City.

Mark is a published author in Advertising Age and Nation's Restaurant News, and has been a guest speaker for The Economist, Forbes, The 4A's (Advertising Association of America) and the National Restaurant Association.
